What are the current alerts?
- Cancellation Downloads.
- Policy Premium change by a positive or negative percentage amount.
- Schedule Items change such as drivers, vehicle, and properties. This would include new, deleted, or altered items.
- All downloads for a specified client.
How are alerts created?
The alerts are generated automatically and silently when daily downloads are processed which meet the user specified criteria. The alerts setup is in the Download Management Center, and utilizes a simple to use wizard format.
Who would get the alert, and what would it look like?
You may select multiple people to place on an alert. Some examples would be the policy producer, CSR, sub-producer, or manager. If an alert is triggered it will place a diary item on the person you chose Dashboard.
Why would I want to use the alert system?
Alerts allow the Agency to stay informed of policy changes sent directly to the carrier by the insured. The alert enhances your workflow to make policy changes in a seamless manner. You may jump from the diary item that was created by the alert system directly to the client to make the specific changes required. Also by setting up premium alerts you can spot downloaded premium changes quickly and notify your clients before your client shops for different coverage.
How do I create a Download Alert?
From the main Agency System's menu select Other -> Download ->Pending tab.
Right-click on a blank/white area of the screen, and select Download Alerts…
Select New to bring up the alert wizard.
Follow the prompts on the wizard to set the desired type of alert.
Once the alert is complete you have a few options if you Right Click on the alert itself.
- Edit allows you to modify the existing alert.
- Retire This Alert this Alert will stop the alert from generating, and will drop it off your alert listing.
- Suspend Alerts System will stop alert processing for this download session.
